suggestions?

I just got this e-mail back about fees being waived:

Laurel, I have requested the fees listed below be waived for you, your student account will be credited, I do not have the ability to reimburse in another way. Jack

Jack A. Baker
Assistant to the Vice President
for Student Affairs and Enrollment Management
Chief Conduct Officer

Anyone get a response like this? Does this mean I have to take more classes or could I get a check? Anyone know?
